“Patching Hearts with Mrs. Terra Cotta Pots & Twig®” is an original,
visual healing series of programs, specifically designed to help young
children cope with a significant loss. Puppets and live characters together
with Mrs. Terra Cotta Pots and Twig introduce darling stories and songs that
deal with children’s losses. The 40 minute programs close by inviting the
children to participate in singing an uplifting song and to help mend their
broken hearts by pasting their “pink hearts” with the name of their loss, on
the large broken hearts found on stage. “Patching Hearts” captures the
compassionate experience of loss through the child’s voice empowering children
to take their own “baby” steps towards healing. The programs are recommended for little ones ages 3 to 10.
